Our History
Have coached more than 300 couples; presented numerous retreats, hundreds of talks; in our 9th year on the formation team for our future deacons and their wives.
Built out our own office space; converted a garage attached to the Dalton’s home; where we meet with individuals and couples.
Asked by Archbishop Aquila to teach our future deacons and their wives during their formation at the St. Francis School of Theology for Deacons, a division of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary, Archdiocese of Denver.
Discerned and prayed and started our own nonprofit, Marriage Missionaries
Prayed and discerned and joined The Alexander House (thealexanderhouse.org) in their apostolate to helping married couples.
Volunteered at the parish level for marriage prep. Became certified Natural Family Planning teachers; and taught anywhere from 10-30 engaged couples a year.
Heard Saint Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body for the first time. Dove into this teaching over the next five years.
We exchanged our wedding vows on April 27, 1991. We were so in love and ready to take on whatever came our way. Big hurdles within the first year of marriage, little bumps the first five years. We then opened our hearts to the generosity of God. We discovered His plan for our marriage; and that we need Him at the center of our lives so that we can live out the JOY that He intended for our marriage.
